The OG YouTube girlies will remember social media queen Aspyn Ovard. From her lifestyle content to a 2018 collaboration with Tarte Cosmetics — that some of Us are still using, TBH — the Utah native ruled the internet.
While she was constantly slaying on her solo channel, Ovard also gained popularity as part of her joint channel with partner Parker Farris. The duo got married in October 2015, and welcomed three daughters together: Cove in August 2019, Lola in September 2021 and a third baby in April 2024.
As her content shifted into mom-influencing, Ovard decided to keep her home life more on the private side. However, fans discovered in April 2024 that Ovard filed for divorce from Ferris after nearly nine years of marriage. (People reported that divorce documents were filed the same day Ovard announced that she and Ferris had welcomed baby No. 3, whose name she’s yet to share publicly.)
After months of silence, Ovard started to open up about the split in October 2024.

“One time I had a baby and then she was in the NICU and then I filed for divorce,” she said in a TikTok video. “People somehow found the records from it and so they started talking about it online and posting it even though I hadn’t said anything and I literally just had a baby and she was premature and she was in the NICU.”
Ovard continued: “Then like literally a thousand articles were written about it and then I just didn’t say anything about it because I just didn’t want to. And then, I said something about it like months later when I wanted attention.”

I don’t want to even think? about that right now. I’m not going to share details of like the terms of my divorce.”

Ovard added: “All of those posts from earlier in the week where I was down in the dumps, that is so for real. That is so genuine.”
Fans have speculated about the reason behind Ovard and Ferris’ split, but the pair is keeping quiet about the specifics, it seems. Ovard did say that she feels “a little bit better” when making TikTok videos that are “not that serious.”

“You see how I don’t talk about my divorce online? Very demure, mindful,” she said while holding baby No. 3. “You see how I considered my children and how it would affect them to have their family’s personal information shared all over the internet? Very smart, very good mom.”
