Barbara Palvin Struts in 40-Pound Wings at 2024 VS Fashion Show

Barbara Palvin had no problem walking in her mirrored wings at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — which are heavier than you’d expect.

The 31-year-old Angel exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about her larger-than-life wings while getting glammed up for the show on Tuesday, October 15. “This year mine are heavy, which just means they’re bigger!” she exclaimed, noting that “some [wings] are really light.”

Palvin guessed that her wings, which featured large mirrors in the shape of feathers, weighed around “40 pounds.”

“They’re really well-made, so it’s not too hard [to walk in the wings] with heels on,” Palvin told Us.

Palvin also shared that she prepped for the show by staying “hydrated” and (attempting) to get a good night’s rest.

“I’ve been up since 2:30 [a.m.],” she laughed to Us, noting she had too much adrenaline to fall back asleep. (Palvin’s glowy complexion made it impossible to tell she was low on sleep.)

For the catwalk, Palvin looked like a hot goddess in a sheer dress featuring a cowl neckline, a thigh-high slit and a dainty train. Underneath, she showed off her figure in a silver crystal bra and matching string underwear.

Palvin gave Us even more fairy energy with butterfly heels that wrapped around her ankles. She further accessorized with diamond earrings. After strutting down the runway — which, by the way, Palvin did so flawlessly, and even beamed along the way — the model took off her pumps and held them in the air while returning backstage.

Her glam included filled in-eyebrows, rosy cheeks, glossy lips and sparkly eyeshadow that made her blue eyes pop. Palvin’s brunette strands were parted down the middle and styled in loose curls.

When it comes to her relationship with Victoria’s Secret, Palvin told Us she goes way back with the brand and even purchased her first pair of Pink panties years ago. “I still have it!” she quipped to Us, joking the lingerie could count as vintage now.
